Originating from the vibrant landscapes of Peru and Brazil, Pink Peppercorn, also known as Baie rosé, offers a delicate warmth and floral sweetness that is truly distinctive. While commonly referred to as “pink pepper,” these small, round berries with their charming blush hue actually belong to the same family as mangoes and cashew nuts. This ingredient is not just an aesthetic choice; it brings a subtle spice with faint citrus undertones that elevate the dessert without overpowering it.

It’s worth noting, however, that due to its familial ties to cashews and poison ivy, this ingredient is best avoided by those with related allergies.
